The Institute Of Work - Work Space Fora Insight
Work is changing. The way we structure our days, interact with colleagues and think about our careers, networks and knowledge is shifting in ways we’re only beginning to understand. It’s a time of uncertainty, but also possibility.
The Institute of Work in collaboration with Work Space Fora is a forum to think, reflect and hear from some of the finest minds discussing everything from hard data to politics and personality types, as they affect the likely futures of the workplace.
The challenges facing businesses today are significant. Hybrid and flexible models are redefining traditional workplaces. Artificial intelligence is transforming industries, raising questions about how humans and machines will work alongside each other. Skills matter more than job titles, and lifelong learning is already a necessity, regardless of your age, career status or profession.
According to the World Economic Forum’s ‘Future of Jobs 2025’ report, if the world’s workforce was made up of 100 people, 59 would need re-training by 2030.
A recent Gallup poll found companies are 17% more productive when employees get the training they need and 21% more profitable when they offer training to engaged employees. We won't claim to have the answers, but we do think that the companies who best understand the issues facing their employees will get the most out of them.
Fora was founded to create spaces designed to foster ideas, collaboration and meaningful work. The Fora Institute of Work is a forum for sharing perspectives, bringing together voices from different fields to discuss how we can shape a future that works for everyone in the workforce.
We are fortunate to have the guidance of an incredible Advisory Board:
